The Booking Window
The Booking Window is a staged timing heuristic that helps you stay inside the optimal booking zone without obsessing over daily price noise.
Numbers represent days out from departure. Use them as checkpoints, not strict rules.
Why this works
Long-haul pricing moves in discrete waves. A fixed sequence of check-ins keeps you evaluating the market at meaningful points instead of reacting to random daily swings.
How to use the Booking Window
- Start with the 89-day scan to establish a baseline.
- Confirm momentum around 55 and 34 days out.
- Move quickly once you enter the 21-to-13 day band.
Pair the window with SERP Radio signals. If the corridor drops below baseline during the 34-to-21 day zone, that is usually your buy signal.
Apply to NYC to London
The NYC-to-London corridor is the cleanest proving ground for this heuristic because it has high volume and clear seasonal swings. Track JFK to LHR and use the window to anticipate when the next drop is likely.
